All of a sudden; connection refused..

Our OSF machine has started acting strangely towards its router (a cisco).. In the
past, since the router's IP address is in the "hosts.allow", we used to be able to
telnet from the router to our osf machine.. Now, we just get a 'connection refused'.
We even tried getting rid of the hosts.allow and .deny, but OSF still won't let the
router connect to it!
We tried lots of interesting tricks, including rebooting both OSF and router, still
nothing. Any ideas what it can be? Thanks! -turgut
