32 gig limit on RAID controller

People,

I have an Alphaserver 2100 running DU4.0b, with a KZESC-BA swxcr EISA
based RAID controller. We are planning to add more disks to the machine,
but one of the VARs we talked to mentioned that our controller has a 32
gig limit. He couldn't elaborate more unfortunately since he didn't know
more, so my question is, what is this 32 gig limit? Is it per RAID set,
per channel (this is a 3 channel controller) or for the whole controller?

Thanks in advance.
