Dear All
We are currently running 4.0B with patch kit 6 on a 2100 and a 3600
(and will shortly upgrade our 8400 to the same level). We were going
to go to 4.0D but Dec support said that 4.0D was not compatible with
the patched version of 4.0B although they were a bit unclear as to
why. They also said that the 4.0D patch kit, due out in March, would
fix the problem.
Has anyone else heard the same or have any more details as to what the
problems actually are? Also, if the 4.0D kit is essential, does
anyone know more precisely when it will be available?
