As it turns out, Digital Unix 4.0D DOES have snprintf() as part of the
/usr/lib/libdb.a library. I only had to include that library and
everything is working great!
Special Thanks to:
Dirk Grunwald <grunwald_at_foobar.cs.colorado.edu>
who figured this one out!
Thanks also to:
Tony Gale <gale_at_daedalus.dera.gov.uk> who suggested using the glibc-2.0.6
c library
and
Richard Bemrose <rb237_at_phy.cam.ac.uk> who pointed out the archives have a
reference to a portable snprintf program.
