Hello managers,
we've just bought a 433au with only a system-disk inside.
(ultra wide scsi, 1.5 m buslength)
Now we wanted to plugin a PCI-SCSI-controller (KZPAA-AA, fast scsi, 3 m)
to add additional diskspace extern, but we have been told (by dec!)
that this is NOT POSSIBLE, because it's disabled (per hardware) on the
PCI-backplane. The only way to have other disks is to attach them to the
internal bus-cable.
Huh? Then why has the 433au 5 possible PCI-slots?
Can anyone out there confirm (or contradict) this?
Thanks!
Bernt
