Hello fellow managers,
We're experiencing an intermittent problem with popmail. Sometimes email
gets bounced back with an error message in the header like:
pop: unable to open /popmail/spool/pop/antonh
554 antonh_at_pop... Service unavailable
We're also seeing error messages like:
NFS server: stale file handle fs(1864,509451) file 9111 gen 33321
RFS3_GETATTR, client address = 196.32.32.2, errno 22
Which leads me to believe that our popmail problem may be connected to
the NFS errors since mail is being stored on an NFS file system. Any
ideas, suggestion, etc. will be extremely welcome since it seems to be
happening a lot more often recently and our customers are being
seriously inconvenienced.
