I am trying to install qpopper 2.4 under DU 4.0B (with all the patches).
It works fine without APOP, but my problem is adding users to the apop
database. For example,
host [1] # popauth -user cnelson
Changing POP password for cnelson.
New password:
Retype new password:
popauth: /etc/pop.auth: unable to open POP authorization DB
The same thing happens if I do this a a regular user. The APOP database
(/etc/pop.auth) is owned by the pop user as shown below:
-rw------- 1 pop ittc 1536 Mar 25 10:50 /etc/pop.auth
Also, popauth is installed SUID pop:
-rwsr-xr-x 1 pop ittc 73728 Mar 24 13:46 popauth*
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
