vi macros for authoring HTML...

Greetings,

I was poking around on the net somewhere and came across somewhere
where someone was talking about vi macros to assist when editing
HTML..

Can anyone help me out here and point me in the right direction???

Has anyone sourced any other groovy HMTL authoring softwares?
