Hi managers,
A question about a dec3000/600 which is configured as server with an
alternate console (dec vt320) instead of monitor, keyboard and mouse device
as for a workstation installation. When the system is powered on, I get the
message :
SCC ? ? 004 0060 ptr(0) = Not Present keybd(2) = Not Present
Which means (I think) that there's no mouse nor keyboard nor monitor
plugged to the box. The alternate console switch (S3) at the back to the
server has been switched as noted in documentation (DEC 3000 Model 600/600S
AXP Owners Guide, seems to be in the bottom position). So the machine does
not boot automatically, though auto_action flag is set to boot.
Running tests, I get the following :
