The general consensus is that Dataram and Kingston are two reputable
businesses, and there are many DEC systems out there with these
company's memory running in them. I think that H. Blakely Williford had
the best answer for the concern that I had in mind:
"We have h/w support on our data ram memory in our 4400. But it is only
for
digital's time not for h/w replacement. If somthing goes worng we have
to
wait for a replace ment from dataram; then digital will replace the
dataram
memory. We will not be charged an hourly rate from digital."
