nobody, nobodyv accounts?

Hello all!

We have a DEC Alpha running UNIX 3.2G.

What exactly is the function of nobody, and nobodyv accounts on the
system??

I'm not using NFS, Is it safe to remove these accounts without deleting the
contents of the home directories?

Do these accounts pose any security concerns?
