        Hi!

We are running Digital Unix ver. on Alpha 2100 stations and using
DEC 700 like a LAT terminal server. For some time we had to switch-off DEC
700 and after the power back on, it's won't boot - the green led is on and
the whole segments on digit indicator is on as well - the "8" (power on
state, according to manual). Our DEC reseller firm has already
replaced terminal server, but now it is another problem - which IP address
was a died 700 server? I had examined everything I've found - the Alpha
2100 /etc/lat* files, the /sbin/init.d/lat, /etc/rc.config, /etc/hosts -
nothing at all! The only thing I found is that program starts with option
-HTS7, yes, it is TS7, terminal server name, but where is IP address?!

So, please, have anyone answers to following questios:

        1. Where can I found IP address of my died LAT terminal server?

        2. Have anyone the same problems (I mean terminal server won't
boot)? What should I do to prevent such situations in future?

        Thank you in advance!
