NIS + Dec enhanced security + some Linux?

Anyone have NIS, Dec enhanced security, and Linux?????

Here's the situation... We're currenly running a mix of DEC Unix 4.0x,
the main server running enhanced security, the rest which (not as public)
are base security.
We also have a bunch of Red Hat Linux 5.0 machines which we'd like to bring
into the scheme for NIS.

Can NIS be implemented like this, with linux accessing the NIS maps, which
are on an "enhanced security" server?
If not, what's the difference between that and getting the maps from a DEC
client running base security?

If the answer is you CAN use enhanced security with Linux and NIS in SOME
ways...
... please explain how you are set up (or how it could be set up).

If the answer is you can NOT use enhanced security with Linux and NIS in
ANY way...
what do you suggest for security of the passwd table showing the encrypted
passwords?

The reason I ask is two fold... I still cannot get a prpasswd file created
to yppush...
(I've asked with very limited responses, that's why there's no SUMMARY yet.)
and we will want to incorporate Linux machines someday to our NIS.

Thanks!
Dan
