Dear Manager's,

thanks for help, the solution was simple:

The tape was written on a Hardware-Compression Exabyte Tape: EXB8500CQANXR0

I tested it with some other Exabyte Tape-drives and all sayed: I/O-Error. At
least i used the Hardware-Compression Drive and it works.

The command was: tar -xvf /dev/rmt5h

Thanks to: Jim Belonis II (file /dev/rmt5h ) belonis_at_dirac.phys.washington.edu
