Hi all,
We have installed oracle 7.3.3.5 on an alphaserver 8400 with Digital
Unix 4.0D.
Previous our applications ran on an AS8200 with oracle 7.2.3.
Although we have a much faster server now, our applications are running
very much slower than on the old configuration.
We checked every possible thing, on the unix level and on the oracle
level. On the unix level there are no resource problems, and the
sqlstatements on the oracle level takes the same excutation path then on
our previous system.
Has somebody experienced the same problems after an upgrade of oracle,
can it be that there is a bug in this oracle release ?
Can a corruption of the data causes such a problems ?
