Problem with PersonalWorkstation and DE500

I installed a PersonalWorkstation au, with Linux REDHAT 5.0 and I had a
problem with the network.
I need to use 2 NIC's. The on-board NIC works well, but I installed
another NIC (DE500) and the hardware or the Linux not recognize this
card. I need to configure something on the hardware?
Or the problem is on the Linux?

I don't know if you can help me.
