Hi everybody,
on a number of DEC Unix 4.0 nodes running CDE, the following
sequence of error messages is written on the daemon.log file in syslog.dated:
May 7 16:27:04 ag3ts2 lockd[11505]: Can't create client handle to ag3ts0 NLMv4:
RPC: Program not registered
May 7 16:27:09 ag3ts2 inetd[423]: /usr/dt/bin/rpc.cmsd: exit status 0xffffff00
May 7 16:27:25 ag3ts2 inetd[423]: /usr/dt/bin/rpc.cmsd: exit status 0xffffff00
The nodes are NIS/DMS clients of a node named ag3ts0.
The messages repeats regularly every 30 seconds.
Any hints?
