Hello,
A few days ago, after I read the Sys. Adm for D.U. 3.2C I decide to
maintain log files (cap 14.4). This is what I wrote in ...../crontabs/root
file:
...
45 13 * * * find /var/adm/syslog.dated -type d -mtime +14 -exec rm -rf '{}';
...
I change the time when this must happened from 1.55am to 13.45pm and I
think that something in tis line is wrong because I received the next
message:
Date: Fri, 8 May 1998 01:55:01 +0300
From: system PRIVILEGED account <root_at_alpha1.infim.ro>
find: incomplete statement
Cron: The previous message is the standard output
and standard error of one of your cron commands.
I use as a shell the Bash shell.
Could someone tell me where I wrong?
