I had a question regarding rdump the other day and a response was to try dump,
then pipe through dd. Great idea, but when I try this, I get an error, too. The
problem, I think, is when I dump to standard output, the available block size
is 0, therefore the dump is terminated and not sent to standard output. When I
dump to a disk file, dump works fine. Can anyone tell me the problem here?
Thanks in advance for the help. BTW, DEC UNIX 4.0b, 3000/700.
