Dear managers:
I have for awhile now trying to switch our window dimensions from 12xx x
10xx to 1024x768 to work with our in-house software applications which
would give us the optimum resolution. I've found a dial on our video board
which I set to #5 to get a 1024X768 resolution. I have to modify
the font aliases in /usr/lib/X11/fonts/decwin/75 in order to get some of
our application to display.
Anyways we have two problems. The first problem, which I believe is
related to fonts, is we get "backward question-marks" right after we
display different lines of text in our X11/Motif applications. Is there
anything I can do to solve this problem?
2nd problem, is we lost our right-most scroll bar on the display. I
have made some changes to /usr/lib/X11/app-defaults/Mwm. I change
Mwm*resizeBorderWidth from 10 to 2 . This helped with lines being
cut-off from the bottom of the application but the scrollbar still doesn't
appear. Is there any other fields I can modify or anything else I can
do short of modifying the applications?
Sincerely Yours
