The problem has been fixed in patch kit 0007 - patch 537.00. The patch kit
and notes where in a different directory on ftp.service.digital.com -
/pub/osf/v4.0b instead of /public/Digital_UNIX/4.0b. I cannot resist asking
why the two separate directories???
