Printer echo

Hello

When we run the terminal program under windoew 3.1, the program will not
initialize the modem when the < dial > option is selected, thus it does
not dial. It only works when we turn on the < Printer echo > option
under < settings > and then turn it off again before dialing. So I am
looking for information about what type of commands the < printer echo >
option uses.
