Thanks for all the replies.
The following suggestions were made:
1) Use psrinfo - This just tells me that the CPUs are up and running. Not
usage reports on each processor.
2) Use /usr/bin/X11/demos/cpuinfo - This provided some assurance that both
CPUs are being used.
3) Use Monitor: gatekeeper.dec.com:/pub/DEC/monitor.alpha.tar.Z - I didn't
try this but I'm assuming that it is similar to cpuinfo.
4) Use Performance Manager from Associated Products CD - I haven't tried
this yet...but it sounds cool.
5) Use vmubc
ftp://ftp.digital.com/pub/Digital/ - Haven't tried it but it
sounds good.
6) Use collect
ftp://ftp.digital.com/pub/Digital/collect/ - Haven't tried it
but it sounds good.
7) Use kdbx:
kdbx -k /vmunix
(kdbx)cpustat -update 4
This worked out great and completely convinced both CPUs were active.
Thought it didn't tell me what PID was running on which CPU. Nor does
it give any information on threads (Though, I haven't found a utility
that does).
8) Run the sample code that comes with PSE - I'm going to try this.
