    Managers,

A user of mine reports that after updating to Digital Unix 4.0d from 4.0b and
installing the latest C++ compiler, "perl -v" now returns

>12789:/usr/bin/perl: /sbin/loader: Fatal Error: cannot map libnsl.so

He is running perl-5.003.

The libraries we are using:

# setld -i | grep -i CX | grep install

CXLLIBA425 installed DEC C++ Class Archive Libraries
CXLSHRDA425 installed DEC C++ Class Shared Libraries
CXXBASE600 installed DIGITAL C++ Version 6.0 for DIGITAL UNIX Systems
CXXHTML600 installed DIGITAL C++ HTML documentation
CXXOLD600 installed DIGITAL C++ V5.7 (-oldcxx) compiler

Any ideas where the library is and will we need it in the future?

TIA.
