NIS/C2 Weirdness - Inconsistent Access

Help!

I have three DU 4.0D boxes all on the same NIS domain. One is set up as
a master, the other two are clients (the master is a client of itself).
All the user accounts are set up as NIS users and are not in the local
passwd database. C2 security is enabled on all three machines.

When a user tries to login, usually s/he will get the "Account Disabled
- See your System Administrator" message. If you try it again, it
succeeds with no errors. Logout and try again, it fails. For a few
users, it never works.

I've been poking around everywhere I can think of, and just can't find
any trace of what's happening. /var/adm/sialog has about zero useful
information other than "failed", which I already knew.

As a possible direction to look, we recently changed domain names. I
think I got everything switched over, but you never know.

ANY advice would be greatly appreciated. My users don't seem to like my
suggestion to take the day off.
