I recieved two replies, one blaming the client as I didn't make it clear
that I had tested and proved the client was not at fault and another
suggesting the 'alwaysadddomain' function. I fixed the problem by
upgrading to the latest version of sendmail, which by default includes the
alwaysadddomain fuction in the sendmail.cf. I would recommend that
everyone upgrade to the latest version of sendmail as it has lots of
nicities like built in relay controls. Thanks.
