     Greetings All,

I have a DUNIX V4.0d TruCluster V1.5 system waiting to go into
production. We will be using this for a variety of Internet related
services: email, DNS, home-grown applications. One of the more
important services for us on this cluster will be a public FTP server.
We will be placing files there for our customers to pick up as well as
receiving data, etc. for internal use from a variety of sources.

I've not had to set up an FTP server before and I'm interested in
hearing from anyone who has done so...I'm not even sure of all the
questions I should be asking. What should I be looking out for? How
should I address security concerns? What is a good 'robust'
organizational structure for directory layouts, access, etc.?

This cluster will be located behind an AV97 firewall.

Any advice and guidance you may offer would be greatly appreciated.

     Thanks.

     Larry
