Dear Everyone,

I've got a problem about installing 2 Seagate ST39173W on my Alpha
Server 2100A 5/250. The problem is both drives which support SCAM are
always being assigned with the same SCSI ID when the system is starting.
The drives will work well if I put just one of new drives at once. I
want to disable SCAM function of the SCSI controler which seems to be
QLogic 1020. I hope there should be a jumper or a command at console
mode prompt (>>>) to disable SCAM. It seems there is no way to disable
SCAM on the drives. Can someone help?

Thanks in advance,
Surasak.
