Hi!
I reset the system this morning after getting some suggestions from among
others:
Lucio Chiappetti
Richard L Jackson Jr
Chris H. Ruhnke
I forward Chris' letter below since it sums it all up. I used this method
and have noticed no broken things..

Eskil,
I had a similar problem after a hardware upgrade which replaced the CPU
modules on my 8200. Somehow the system date became > y2000. If you look
at the "find" manpage you will see that you can compare file dates. What
I did was touch a dummy file with a future date as appropriate (tomorrow
is a good one to use...) then ran find looking for files accessed after
that of the compare file and exec'ing a touch against those files. I
noticed no adverse affects.
