I have a strange problem and would appreciate any assistance.
I have an Alpha 200/4 166 that I am trying to install DU 4.0 d on with
firmware update 5.0. The problem is after I initiate the boot from the
system CD and the boot procedes to the point where it begins to reference
the hard disk, I receive the following:
cam_logger:CAM_Error packet
and the errors continue and it never works,
I first thought that I had a hardware problem, but I am able to install
the arc firmware and install Windows NT onto the machine with no problems
at all. Obviously if I were having a controller/hard disk problem I
couldn't install this.
Any thoughts????
