Millard who recommended running nfssetup on both servers. I had only
done it on the importing server.

Original half-arsed question :
I am trying to mount a file system on an Alpha 2100 running 3.2C from an
Alpha 4000 running 4.0B. I get the following error message after I enter
the mount command :
NFS Portmap: RPC: Program not registered
Any help gratefully received.
