dtksh / ksh93

Hello All,

I'm trying to run dtksh as my login shell because I want to use some of
the newer Korn Shell functionality of ksh93 as opposed to the standard
ksh which runs on DU (ksh88). I'm not interested in the windowing extras
that the dt part of dtksh provides. I run my work over a telnet session
using the good old windowless command line. Although dtksh starts up
okay, it doesn't execute anything in /etc/profile. It does however
execute the .profile script in my home directory. I can find very little
information (i.e. none) about this problem on Digital's web sites. Can
anybody shed some light on the subject please. Is there a non dt version
of ksh93. If not, what do I have to do to run dtksh without problems. Is
there something that I have to set up to be able to use the shell
correctly. I've added it to /etc/shells to see if that would make any
difference (it didn't). Any advice greatly accepted.

Cheers,
  Sean
