The solution was to upgrade the TZ88 firmware from CC34 to CF64.
The TZ89 firmware-version is 1837.

A bank is a place where they lend you an umbrella in fair weather and
ask for it back the when it begins to rain.

Description of the problem:

- I am trying to restore a vdump-backup made on a TZ88 DU 4.0B-PK4 to a
machine
with DU 4.0D (no PK) with a TZ89.
The tape has been succesfully dumped and checked(vrestore -t) on the
TZ88.

The vrestore exits after aprrox. 22GB on the TZ89 with the following
error message:

# vrestore -i -f /dev/nrmt0h
