multiple NICS in a 4100

We'll be purchase some new 4100s in the next few weeks. The sales droid
wants us to put the three machines in a FDDI ring. I'd rather go with
multiple 100Mb nics plugged into my switched 100Mb ports. Does DUnix handle
multiple nics well?
