Hello gurus,
I would appreciate any help on the following...
>From our Sequent machines, we are used to the following method (using SVM) to add space to an existing filesystem
(UFS over LSM)
Assign extra space to the volume.
Set the volume length to the larger amount.
Run "exfs" to provide the "newfs" type structure to the extra space.
Is there an "exfs" equivalent in LSM for DU4.0b?
Or is the only way to add space to an existing volume to
A) backup data
B) recreate the volume to larger size
C) newfs the new volume
D) restore the backup?
Cheers
