ase_init and networker

Hello managers,

I have a 4100 running DU 4.0d patch kit 3, ase 1.5 and networker 4.4. When I
issue the following command as a non root user, I receive an ase-init error
and the backup continues, but the indexes are created in the server index
and not in the service name index.

save -L -q -l full -b ${POOL} -s ${SERVER} -c {SERVICE_NAME}

Any Ideas on what the ase-init is and what it is not able to execute.
