Hello,
thanks to everyone! First let me say that the solution to the posted
question isn't fully clear. Furthermore i had to add some more
informations, which i at first posted only to Doc Blinn. So i'll
summarize the answers to my original question in the first step and will
give to you the answers from Doc!
original question:

the answers to this all stated to apply the patches after installing the
addtional softwarepackets like ADVFS utilities. That the way we did it
and ran into a system crash on one server. Here is my mail to Doc Blinn
which descirbes what happens:
> Hello Doc,

as you can see, although we applyed the patch in the advised order,
problems occured. From digital germany we still gor no answer! Only the
mailling list gave some support until now, specially Tom Blinn had some
explanation! Here is his reply:
>The problem with ./usr/sbin/defragment is that it was originally delivered

for me now it seems, that in opposite to the usual approach, ADVFS
utilities have to be installed after the patchkit and to be deleted
manually before!!!
What about a universially valid strategy?
