lpd: Daemon filter 'f' terminated (-1)

While checking my system's log files, I noticed that the following log
messages were being posted in lpr.log.

Jan 19 09:41:39 mccadm lpd[6002]: bo3: Daemon filter 'f' terminated (-1)
Jan 19 09:41:39 mccadm lpd[6002]: bo3: filter/access error for dfA998mccadm.mcc.
cc.tx.us
Jan 19 09:41:39 mccadm lpd[561]: pid=6002 (sig=-1,err=0)

What could be causing this problem?

I have checked the ownership and file permissions on my printer queues and
they look okay.

I am running on DU 4.0B

I checked the archives and found two messages asking the same question, but
I did not find a summary.
