Hello,
we have a DEC Alpha Server 400 (4/166) with several non-DEC disks
running Digital Unix 4.0D. In order to plug in a new ethernet card
we had to upgrade the firmware to version 6.6-1.
However, now the machine runs up normally for between 10 to 60 minutes,
then it hangs up completely. The only recourse is the reset button.
It seems to me that the disk default values in /etc/ddr.dbase are not
the right choice. We have the following disks:
SEAGATE ST410800N 0025
Quantum XP34300 576D
IBM DCAS-32160 S65A
Does someone know the correct entries in /etc/ddr.dbase for them?
Thank you in advance,
 Andreas Wisskirchen
