Hi,

I looking into setting up a DWZZH-05 UltraSCSI Hub with two
DU v4.0D 2100A's and a NT v4.0 SP3 Compaq Proliant server.

While reading the application note: "Shared Storage Solutions Using
UltraSCSI Hubs" (Part no. EK-SMA21-AN.B01) I came accross
the following under the "Shared Storage Configuration Notes":

-- In a configuration that includes a Windows NT host using the
SWXA3-BD (Adaptec 2944UW) host adapter, only one additional
host adapter may be used on the SCSI bus.

My question: Does this mean that if we have at least one NT host on the
SCSI hub, we can only have one more host on the bus, either NT or Unix,
for a maximum of two?

Does anybody use SCSI Hubs in a mixed OS configuration that can
verify this statement from Compaq/Digital?

Thanks in advance!
