I'm currently running 3.2c
The other end is a linux machine.
I am trying to setup a modem - modem SLIP connection
The connection works fine at 19200, however now I
want to tune it up since I am using two 33.6k modems.
I tried using 28800 33600, not valid baud rates.
I tried using 38400 which it seem to take, since the
alpha can talk to the modem at that speed and the
modems are identicle on each end and the other end
was also set at 38400 which it also can talk to it's
modem at that speed, but the connection wouldn't talk.
I changed the baud rates back to 19200, and they talk.
Is slattach restricted to 19200 as it's maximum speed on
3.2c? If not, what baud rates above 19200 are considered
valid? The man pages don't seem to offer much insight.
Thanks,
George Gallen
