chg # of pty's in kernel

Admins - I'm new to DU & need to increase the npty's kernel recognizes
on my 1200 running 4.0D - I have built plenty of pseudo pty devices in
/dev (816) - now I want to make the kernel change. Do I edit the
sysconfigtab file & reboot for this one? If so, what exact entry would
I use?
