Hi all,
I'm trying to implement C2 security on a digital unix box (v4.0b) with Informix
and Baan. I have been able to get the C2 password security implemented
and managed to keep the old passwords, but now the Informix refuses to
connect saying that the user doesn't exist when you connect through the
network connection. You can connect using dbaccess locally. I have tried
putting the address of the connecting machine in hosts.equiv, I even tried to
use a + in the hosts.equiv, but to no avail. We need (I believe) C2 in order to
implement password aging.
Has anyone been able to get this to work, or have another way to implement
password aging in DU?
