Hi,
I received many responses suggesting to use wordpad instead of notepad
to read the files, Write a script to remove the End Of line etc. Later I
found with the Intergraph NFS Package a menu item which had the dos2unix
utility thru whcih I could convert the file. The file was an input to
another program which did not like the UNix Format on a Windows System.

The Original Question was:
Hi,
I have recently installed a PC-NFS product " Intergraph AccessNFS
Gateway for NT" on our NT Server to gain access to the Disks on Digital
Unix boxes. I can get the access, but when a text file is read using
notepad, the information is jumbled, i.e. it does not recognize the
carriage return. The Windows application does not understand the Unix
carriage return and puts a special character. " a square symbol at the
end of the line". Has anyone come across this?. Is there any solution?.

Thanks all

With Regards

Raja
