SUMMARY: steamd process sucking cpu resources

Many thanks to those who responded.

The solution was to kill steamd on one of the two nodes of the cluster.
It seems that because of the shared SCSI bus, steamd can only run on one
or the other nodes of a cluster.

steamd is started by init, so it was necessary to edit the /etc/inittab
file and comment out the entry for steamd on the offending server.

Now that this has been done, all is well.
