Logging IP adresses

Hi managers,

i'm running Digital Unix 3.2G & 4.0D on 2100 & 4100 &
8400.

i'd like to know how it is possible to log *every* ip
adresses that make requests to my host. For example,
someone who is on a remote host do a telnet or a ping on my
host, i'd like it's _at_IP in a file.

i don't manage to do it via syslog, or maybe i didn't set
up correctly /etc/syslog.conf...

Please help.

Thanks a lot.
