SUMMARY: Upgraded graphics card

Thanks to all who responded. John Speno gave me the answer:

Problem: Replacing a graphics card with an upgrade and graphical login
did not come back.

Solution: boot genvmunix: '>>>b -fi genvmunix'
              than rebuild kernel: 'doconfig'
