Hi,
I have 164SX with DU4.0D. There are NCR53C810 SCSI controller, PnP NumberNine
graphics card and two DE-500 network cards (configured as 100 half-duplex)
plugged in PCI slots. There was no problem with DU installation, but problem
occurs when I want to ftp on machine, the transfer rate becomes very low (~30
kB/s). There is no problem with ftp out of the machine or when I redirect ftp to
/dev/null
What I have figured out from previous discussions on this list is that there are
problem with interrupts, it seems that SCSI controller and network cards are
sharing the same IRQ.
My questions are:
-Is there a way to determine IRQ number for specific device on SRM console (I
know it is possible to do find them for EIDE devices) or at the level of DU?
-What would be the solution or workarround for my problem (I have tryed to move
IRQ on SCSI bootboot from A to B (C,D), but the situation was even worse
(machine did not boot))?.
-Is there a way to move IRQs arround on DU?
Thank you very mouch in advance, Jure
