As the resident Unix Sorcerer's apprentice, one of the tasks that falls
to me is to fix various CPU's and disks that no longer work properly. I
am looking for tools to verify that they are indeed working once I think
that I have them fixed.
So far I have used diskx to exercise disks and have found memx which I
have not yet used but which should exercise memory.
Does anyone out there in DU land know of a tool to give the CPU itself a
thorough work out? Also tools to isolate problems so that they can be
fixed would be very useful. I will definitely summarize for others in
the same situation.
TIA
