Read SUN tar tape on DU the second

Hello all together,

all the answers i received till not say it should work at it is.

BUT IT DOES NOT !

If i try to read the table of the archive (tar tvf /dev/rmt0h ) or try
to read the archive,
i end up with the following error:

tar: [offset 0]: I/O error

Anybody help ???
